I plan on building a new gaming rig where I'll be gaming (obviously) and rendering videos for my YouTube channel. These are the specs I'll be running:

Case - Rosewill BlackHawk ATX Case
(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...)
CPU - AMD FX-6300 with Stock Heatsink
(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...)
Motherboard - ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+
(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...)
RAM - G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 Mhz
(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...)
Graphics Card - Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X 4GB Edition (yes they make those) (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...)
OS - Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
SSD - Samsung 840 EVO 120GB
(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...)
HDD - Western Digital 1TB Caviar Blue
(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...)
Optical Drive - ASUS DVD Writer
(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...)
Card Reader - Rosewill Multi-card Reader
(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...)
Fan Controller - NZXT Sentry-2 5.25" Touch Screen Fan Controller
(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...)

Now the one thing I'm missing is my Power Supply. I wanna get either a Corsair CXM 600 Semi-Modular PSU or the CXM 750 PSU. I will have a decent amount of USB ports occupied but now with external hard drives or anything. Is the 750W PSU overkill or just perfect? Otherwise I'll go with the 600.

Personally, I have had good success with Corsair and the 750W is only $10 more so I don't see why not to get it.

Corsair makes a good PSU. You can never go wrong with more power. Who knows you might upgrade. Although the CX is on the lower end they are still quite reliable. I would do the 750W in a heart beat, it's modular.
