Which HDMI cable to get and does it even matter?

Hey guys,

I plan on upgrading it in some time.

Anyway here is my GPU

As you can tell i need to use HDMI to connect to GPU to my monitor. What HDMI cable do you guys recommend? Are some better than others? Or does it not really matter?

Overall, a cable is a cable. Just get the cheapest one for the length you need.

but anyways............. I got a couple of 5 or 6 foot rosewill hdmi cables a while back for 3.99 or 5.99 a while back........ gold plated terminals. good quality............ were on sale.

My brother just gave me this monitor for free. HUUUGE upgrade from my last one so I had to upgrade and take it hah. However he couldn't find the HDMI cable. Only other thing I'm worried about is if the monitor came with any type of installer disk of some sort. Only one way to find out haha. But thanks for the advice guys. I'll just buy like a 10$ HDMI that's gold plated. Seems good to me.

Monitors don't require any sort of software to run :|

If you checked the URL I posted for the monitor it has a support disk that comes with the monitor. Any idea what that is about?

hdmi cables are not all the same.................

. just plug monitor in. windows should be able to find a driver for it.

Those discs usually just contain things like info for your computer to recognize the specific model monitor, and sometimes color profiles. You do not EVER need any software install to run a monitor that connects through anything other than USB.
