Nvidia cards are better for rendering and streaming. Add $100 for a Dell 21.5" LED Monitor and replace the 760 with a 660. If you want then you can get a better and a better case. However, that will eat up a lot of your budget and is not as important as the components. If you can spend more then buy a better mobo. Look for a Z77 chipset and an LGA1155 socket only.

If you don't then borrow a licensed copy from a friend or else spend $80-$90 on a Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit or about $100 on Windows 8 64-Bit (Upgrade to 8.1 from the market for free). Make sure you get 64-Bit onlyas 32-Bit supports a maximum of 4GB RAM.

i like that build but it would be better if you swapped the PSU with a CX500 being its only 29$, and take away the gtx 760 and replace with a R9 270x because of mantle he OP specifically posted he wants 60fps on BF4 which will support mantle and is able to give him more than 60fps on bf4 while the 760 will barely hold 60fps constantly

He didn't state that he wanted to start OCing as soon as he built the PC. Also, he has mentioned that he will be streaming and so an AMD card will be beaten by an Nvidia one. The PSU which you have given is kind of underpowered especially if he's overclcoking. I really doubt it whether that PSU will be able to run this setup even if he doesn't OC. This will be a better build:

umm the cx500 is plenty i got a friend that runs a 3570k and a gtx 770 and both are OC its corsair they are over rated so they are more powerful than they rate them, but anyways if you want bf4 maxed at 1080p at 60fps+ get the AMD card like the r9 270x it will be the way better choice than the nivida card being the big AMD update for bf4

Who says the update will be successful? Also, what if 500W isn't enough for him (Case fans, RAM, HDD etc.)? Also, Nvidia cards have better PhysX and I put quality before fps. Nvidia cards run cooler than AMD cards and are good at stuff other than games (Like 3D rendering.) AN R9 270X will not max out BF4 and receive over 60 fps. A 7990 or a GTX770 are cards which will stay above 60fps on Ultra with Texture Filtering at High, 4xMSAA, AA Deferred High and HBAO.

Have you seen mantle its 45% upgrade i got a 270x im at 1080p and can already max with 50-60fps, what about with a 45% upgrade think of it then? i wouldnt they run cooler at all you really cant say that it just all depends on what brand card you buy and how good the cooling is i would have to say MOST people prefer 60 fps on high than 20 fps on ultra.... JUST saying but none of the Battlefields even support PhysX so that is pretty much pointless. Its not like the Frostbite engine inst optimized for AMD cards or anything, i mean they wouldnt make a deal WITH AMD for nothing... he already stated its manily for gaming also, it really doesnt matter to me what the OP gets just telling you what is BEST for the OP

like this also i added a cooler so he can OC because we all know here that you can not OC with a stock cooler

This will be a better build:

could you put up a link??

umm the cx500 is plenty i got a friend that runs a 3570k and a gtx 770 and both are OC its corsair they are over rated so they are more powerful than they rate them, but anyways if you want bf4 maxed at 1080p at 60fps+ get the AMD card like the r9 270x it will be the way better choice than the nivida card being the big AMD update for bf4

Firstly, Mantle is delayed and only supports three games when it comes out (Battlefield 4, Star Citizen and Thief). Secondly, I doubt if you will only play Battlefield 4 on a gaming PC, Star Citizen or Thief, and considering how long AMD is taking to release Mantle, I doubt if support for other games will come any soon. I never mentioned about playing on 20 fps. All I said was that I'd rather play a game which has better graphics and textures with Nvidia cards, than sacrifice that for about 5 fps. I never mentioned about playing on Ultra at 20 fps or playing at High at 60. I won't believe you if you are maxing out BF4 (All settings to Ultra with everything enabled and set to the max) as an R9 270X simply won't do that. I agree that AMD cards might be good for you, but they are basically crap for me. Also, I believe that instead of debating between us two, we should ask deian007 what he prefers when he considers both Mantle and PhysX along with the CUDA cores of Nvidia cards and freebies of the AMD cards.

The OP mentioned one game, BF4 well it is probably his main game and in that case, its simple AMD is the better choice when it comes to bf4, they have better performance, better optimization, and sooner or later a 45% increase in performance on for the game, if you arent doing CAD or anything then get a AMD card, AND if you buy the AMD card you get the game for FREE. deian007 which one do you want with the given information.

Adding to your message, AMD also has better multi-monitor support. Nvidia has PhysX and I really recommend you look that up and watch a video if it on YouTube.

Same here. However, I doubt whether he will play BF4 only.
