[SOLVED] 4770k CPU at 65C(max) on full load.

Simple as that.

Currently using a Hyper 212X cooler.

Ambient temp is 30C.

When the CPU is idle, CPU temp is 36C. When it's on full load if fluctuates between 57C and 65C. Is this good? I do live within the tropics after all.

  1. CPU is designed for 90 degrees.

Yes, that is just fine in fact very good for a 30 degree ambient.

Less worrying is a good thing, Glad to help. Don't forget to mark the thread solved.
  5. Using Realtemp, it'd be ideal to have temperatures 20-30C below the TJmax (which would be around 100C for the 4670k/4770k), once it approaches those temperatures the CPU will begin throttling

  6. Yeah, those are pretty good temps! What are your clock speed and voltage at? Have you planned to overclock?

I don't plan on overclocking. I got the 4770k because it was as expensive as the 4770 processor here in my country....

Edit: Can't seem to mark my thread as solved (newb here)
