I have a nice gaming PC that can play battlefield 4 and COD Ghosts.

I've tried both Craigslist and eBay. (How ever no luck)

I was told that it'd be worth about $1,000 since its a few months old.

Here's the setup :
Case : Phantom 410 (Black and Orange)
RAM : Crucial Ballastix 8GB
GPU : GTX 650TI 1GB (Not yet overclocked)
CPU : i7 3770k (@ 3.5 Ghz)
Optical Drives : x1 (BluRay Drive) x1 (DVD Drive)
OS : Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
HDD : 1TB SeaGate Barracuda
MOBO : AsRock Z77 Extreme4
Power Supply : 500 Watts

~much obliged.

You have to stay with it on ebay. How long did you have it listed? For $1000, most folks would rather not take a chance on a used machine no matter how nice it is. But stick with it and offer free shipping. I have sold several builds on ebay. Some went quick, some not so quick.
You might also want to think about breaking it down into its components. I have done that if mine didn't sell. You might even want to hang onto some of the parts for backup. Like the PSU.

Here is why I ask. I do not sell used computers so I am not sure of their value, but why would I pay $1000 for that computer when
A. I can build the same one for $1031 today http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2AdSB

and more important
B. I can build a much better one (to me) for less.

@jnkweaver sorry I forget how to quote. But like I said, some people told me the PC was worth about $1,000 since its a few months old, and not everybody wants to go through the trouble on building their own PC. Some people like to buy a pre-built one. That's why there are PC companies that build PC's like alienware and iBUYPower

Well like I said I don't buy used parts. I would buy a PC from one of the companies because of the warranties they have. The problem with your system is there is no such guarantee.

That is just my 2 cents but like I said I am not in that world.
