Film Storage, on desktop, not NAS

Hi Guys.

I am looking to upgrade and replace some very old HDD's in my case, I currently have 2X 1.5Tb drives and 1X 1Tb drive that I am looking to replace. These are used for TV and film storage, so are accessed rarely, and dont need to have a stunning speed or response time.

I have been looking at the WD Reds 2 or 3 Tb, but in the past I have had bad experiences with this maker, 7-8 years back. Are these now back up to scratch and long term reliable? Would these NAS style units be workable for what I am looking for? Is there another drive that would be better suited?

I already have a SSD for OS and SSHD for game storage. So this is purely for film and TV, along with a download partition.

I am looking to get 2 or 3 of these. I will have them mounted in the bottom HDD holder in a p180 case.

Wd is very trusted now, and if you don't like the product they send you, then return it.
