When I have Google chrome up on my second monitor I get a massive FPS drop in my games on my main monitor, then when I minimize chrome it goes back to normal. Is this normal the drop seems to be about half, I am tempted to think it is v-syncing me to 30 fps when chrome is on the second monitor. Help me please I have a GTX 670 and I should have no problem running duel monitors when I'm only gaming on one of them.

Solution
personally i use a second little card for the second screen, that way it idles properly too. use afterburner or precision X to see what your fps actually is. can you use onboard gpu for the second screen and take the load away completely?

Turn off gpu acceleration on webpages... that'll probably fix it.
