Hey, guys. I've finally convinced myself to stop relying on laptops as my main method of computing (another one just died), so I've been looking into building my first PC! I'm looking to make this a fairly powerful gaming rig that's ~$1000. If possible, I'm trying to use items that qualify for Amazon Prime, so I can receive the parts ASAP so I can start building! :D

If you guys could give me any input on my build, I'd appreciate it greatly.

After doing a bit of research, here's the build that I came up with:

CPU: Intel i5-4670K

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX760 SuperClocked (02G-P4-2765-KR)

MB: MSI Z87-G45 [I'm kinda iffy here since I'm an ASUS fanboy, but all the gaming specific ASUS MB's are so much more expensive :/]

RAM: Kingston Technology HyperX Genesis 8 GB, 1600 Mhz

Hard Drive: Seagate Desktop 2 TB Solid State Hybrid Drive SATA 6 GB with NCQ 64 MB Cache 3.5 Inch (ST2000DX001)

PSU: Corsair Builder Series CX 500 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS (Any chance someone can check to make sure this is compatible with my build? I tried using one of those calculators, but I'm still a bit unsure of myself since I'm new to this)

Case: Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Optional items I kind of want inside:

Bluray Drive: Asus Black 12X BD-ROM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-ROM SATA Internal Blu-Ray Drive (BC-12B1ST)

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan (RR-212E-20PK-R2)
If someone would give me input on how beneficial CPU coolers are, that would be awesome

Current Total (Prices on Amazon without tax): $1,106.14
Minus Optionals: $1,012.15

So what do you guys think? :)
