wd black vs wd red in raid 0

which would give me better performance 2x wd black 1tb in raid 0 or 2x wd red 1tb in raid 0? the reason im asking this is because blacks claim better performance but the red are designed for raid. btw this is for a laptop and i will be using it for gaming and art

Since it is a RAID0 I would highly recommend the WD Red drives but not because of performance but because of safety. The WD Black drives do not have TLER support which could lead to the drive dropping out of RAID and loss of data.

If you like the performance of the WD Black, you should get the WD Black RE which and designed for RAID.

If you are going to RAID 0 then you will be wanting high performance, Thus you will be better of using WD Black.
