Is it possible to connect an internal desktop drive to a laptop computer?

I have a desktop which is only a year old but after using it I prefer the laptop setup even though am a gamer and inside that desktop there is a HDD and SSD, is it possible to connect one of those drives to my laptop?

Easy to do with an external USB drive enclosure. Cost about $12 - $15.

If your laptop has an additional drive bay, you could install the SSD there as most all these days are 2.5" drives which will fit. Prolly not the HDD though as most are 3.5" drives.
