Hard Drive faulty?

I just got this 1TB Western Digital WD1002FAEX yesterday and I ran it in a long bench on HD Tach

This is what the results were:

The Read speed seems really inconsistent.

The Random Access time also seems pretty high

I decided to run HDDScan to check the health of the hard drive:

Are those values good for a brand new hard drive? or is it more than likely that this hard drive is faulty?

The HDDScan SMART results are perfect.

The read benchmark looks good to me, although the dips might be a bit of a concern. I suspect that they may be due to background Windows processes interfering with the test.

After some testing (trying different cables/switching ports) my read speeds are much better now:

however I also checked the hard drive health again and this is what it showed:

The last two things that concern me now are:
1: the Random access time still seems kinda high..ranging from 13.1-13.5ms (I have a 500gb and 1tb that are at least 4 years old and they range around 12.3-12.8)

2: what does it mean if the spin up time value is now higher than the worst value under SMART? is that a good or bad thing?

Thanks for the help
