First off, hello and thanks for helping me out.

I am making a cheap gaming PC, cheap like sub $600, and I know this will HAVE to be entry level, but, my current laptop (no desktop atm) has a I-7 and a GTX 330M starting to shut down on games on low settings, (dishonored is one of them)

So, If I beat that out, hi five, and plus this will get me going on case, RAM, possibly reusing parts later etc etc. Ok, to the meat of it.

I tend to use newegg, but I have amazon prime and my main purpose is low cost, so company is not a huge issue.

Mobo- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131883 $59.99 After Rebate

CPU- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113331 $139.99

RAM- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231689 $84.99

PSU- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139050 $59.99 After Rebate

Case- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129021 $99.99
I chose this case because it is actually the same case as my wishlist mid level build, figure I can re use the components, that and all the cheaper cases I found were...terrible.

HDD- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822236339 $64.99

Total $534
The idea is to crossfire it with a 6670 as soon as the $80 comes available for it.

So, if you wonderful friends would either

A) Double check my choices to make sure everything is compatible. Most specifically PSU, when I last built a PC SLI/Xfire didn't exist, so I am a bit rusty on the specifics of what that might require (If I am right, only certain cards need a specific 6 pin, but haven't done it yet, who knows.....well you do...)

B) Give advice on better parts OR If your aware of a better way of doing this for the same amount of cash, do share, I am very open to ideas, I am not intel or AMD specific, but AMD tends to be the easier cheap build.

Oh, I already have a DVD/RW and operating system. That's why they are not included.

I suggest going to pcpartpicker to design your system, it will show you the places with the lowest prices for what you are wanting to get. Also, if you have a Micro Center near you, they usually have the best CPU/Mobo combo's to be found. And don't forget that you will need ~$100 for an OS.

Awesome! I used PC partpicker and it didn't find any lower prices which is why this is all from newegg, I think one item was $2 or $3 cheaper on prime, but for simplicity before I actually ordered I left it as is..newegg impressed me on that one I thought it would tear em up.

I should have mentioned, apologies. I have the OS, Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, and DVD/RW already taken care of.

Thanks! Care to share? I can order off other websites that is a non issue, it just happened that all my comparison shopping this time newegg was cheaper, hi five if it keeps up, but NOT a concern when I build this. How would you revamp it while keeping the price in range?

The biggest thing I was considering dropping, is to a much cheaper case, but where to put that ~$50 to improve so much?

Honestly I had several cases i selected, then reading more into them after initial selection, they didn't fit the MOBO, or they had no space for decent cooling etc etc. Hmm, anyway, any advice is definitely gladly welcome.

Oh, I will be actually building this, probably feb maybe march time frame. IIRC that is close enough so no major changes should be happening between here and there.

-Free shipping on everything.
-Stronger processor.
-Discrete gpu will get you much better performance.
-Better case. The Antec 900 is an out-dated case that lacks modern features.

That's that budget build CPU i've been seeing everywhere, been doing more research myself on this lol, yeah my build was antiquated. Hmmm, for upgrade purposes, would it be better to go with an intel I3 or 5? or at this budget is it best to maybe reuse what you can on the next build? Thank you so much for the looks, I think I am going to play with different options using this template. Come buy time check for price updates and maybe grab more advice off of here before I press the order button. Thank again!
