Hey all.

I am hoping to purchase a graphics card within the next two weeks (willing to wait longer if Maxwell isn't too far away). It's just deciding which one to purchase. I have looked at benchmarks, reviews, etc but would like some opinions from the Tom's Hardware community.

My budget is roughly around £300 and to be purchased within the UK.

I currently play these games: Battlefield 4, Dayz, Skyrim (lots of texture mods) and Titan Fall when it comes out.

I currently only game with one 1920 x 1080 monitor with a second monitor for background tasks. I know the GTX 770 2GB version will easily handle the above games on ultra settings but because upcoming games and Skyrim mods requiring more vram, would it be more future proof going for more? I'm hoping this card will last me 2-3 years.

I don't think i'd go for SLI or CrossFire in the near future (maybe in a year or so).

I currently have a GTX 550ti (can barely play the above games with medium settings).

Other system specs are:
i5 2500k overclocked to 4.3ghz
asus p8z77-v lx
2 x 4GB corsair vengeance
60GB SSD (upgrading to 250GB samsung 840 evo soon)
1TB HDD
Corsair CX 600M PSU

At the moment I have found these graphics cards:

Thanks in advanced.

I just had to make the same decision, and I went 770. The benchmakrs I've seen show it at a slight advantage in both performance and price. after about a month I'm pretty happy with my decision.

I went 2gb since I read 4gb is only really useful for sli setups, and newegg gave me 3 games with the 2gb version. If the price difference is severe and you don't plan on using sli just go for the 2.
