BF4 stutters constantly and is unplayable. The game will load fine, but once in game it stutters constantly. I also get a rainbow type effect that comes and goes as I'm moving around the maps. The auto setting in the game put my graphics settings at medium and high. I've changed them all to low/off with the same results. I've updated all my drivers that I could. Maybe it's my motherboard, CPU, GPU or something. I don't know where to go from here.

System Specs:

Biostar N68S3B GeForce Socket AM3 Motherboard
AMD Phenom II X2 550 3.1Ghz Black Edition AM3
Nvidia 550Ti GTX 1GB
Patriot Gamer 2 4GB DDR3 PC10666 1333MHz
Crucial Ballistix Sport 4GB DDR3 PC10600 1333MHz
Corsair Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 750W 80+ Bronze
Seagate 500GB Serial ATA HD 7200/16MB/SATA-6G
Windows 7 64-bit

I also think its your CPU is not up to it, its below the official minimum requirements. Your board only supports up to 95W CPUs so you are limited there, if you want the cheapest upgrade to make the game playable see if you can get a cheap Phenom II/Athlon II x4 thats under 95W on Ebay but you will likely find a game in the near future that cannot cope with so maybe comsider a new PC if you can afford it.

Thanks for the help guys. Yes, my PC works wonderfully with any other task/game. I can play skyrim, BF3 flawlessly on High/Ultra settings. I will look into a CPU first.
