Is this a good budget build for PC Gaming? Or Should I just get a PS4?

So, I've never really been a PC gamer.. I've been a console guy my whole life. I recently discovered my PC can play some games at a low setting on the AMD APU and I've been playing using my PS3 controller, but the games look better than its console counter parts running on what's now known as a last gen console the PS3. Since i'm 17 I can only work about 15-20 a week, so i'll take me a about a month and some change to save up. This is a build I spent a little over 2 hour putting together for a price: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2DzjZ Is it good/worth it? Can it out preform the PS4 in terms of power? Could I possibly run games on the high settings? Could I run games with those graphic mods? Get 60Fps? Would this build out last the PS4? Or should I just get a PS4 and call it a day and save time and money? Could I use a controller on it? I injured my finger when I was kid so I cant really use a keyboard for too long :/. I hope you guys don't mind if I posted this to reddit, in case I didn't get any answers here.

There's a lot that could be improved, but that should toast a PS4.

It's an HP Touchsmart, I can only take the diskdrive/keyboard/hdd.

That's a tough question. PC gives you the freedom and customization a console won't give you, but it also requires more time and knowledge.

But comparing a $400 ps4 and a $550 pc is not really fair i think. PC doesn't have costs for online gaming, has much more possibilities and has cheaper games so if you take that in consideration something like a $700 pc would be more fair..

And no, it won't outlast consoles. It will last for years though, but you will have to turn down resolution/settings as time goes on. In 2019 you will play at low settings 1080p or something while you can right now play them at high/ultra. The games will roughly look the same though, it's just that newer pc's will keep getting better and better while you still have old hardware.

As for your build, get at least a better power supply.

Slower CPU, but faster GPU (slightly). Bigger case with more expansion room, and a motherboard that won't run the VRMs at ridiculous temperatures. Dual channel RAM. A PSU that won't die from bad caps in a couple of years.
