16:9 vs 16:10 for gaming and editing

I'm going to buy new 1080p monitor which will be focused on gaming and video editing. i'd prefer to have 120hz or 144hz monitor, but which is better 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 - 16:9 or 16:10 and which monitor sizes are best for them 23, 24, 27?
Which monitor would work fine for me? there is a lot of monitors but hard to choose.

Not a lot of difference between 1920 x 1080 & 1920 x 1200 to be honest. I think you will struggle finding a 144hz 1920 x 1200 monitor, im not sure they even exist.

As for size........ get the biggest you can afford
