I am planning to build my first pc within a budget of $1300 max. I will use this rig to do some gaming, coding and video editing.

Games that I will play will be skyrim, nba2k14 with graphics mods, bf4, saintsrow IV, sims 4

This rig is mainly for gaming and coding, video editing won't be done regularly. I would also love to get a small, compact and quiet case.

this is the list of parts that I think should be good http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/2G1py

I live in aus that's why the prices are not great. What do you think of this?

best bang for the bucks ;)

just make to ram speed... buy two sticks of 4gb instead of single 8gb it will increase the performance of ram bcoz of dual channel.

Thanks for the quick reply, I just realised that i put the k haha. I've changed it. But Is there any noticeable different between the 4570 and 4670 in gaming or editing?

No such difference in gaming as games are mainly GPU oriented but you can get some benefit during video editing, but that will be very marginal.
