Corsair VS450 and Geforce 240gt

Hello everyone! I recently bought a Corsair VS450 psu. Specs say 34A on 12v rail(single rail). An Nvidia Geforce 240gt i have requires 18A minimum and a 350w psu i think. But when i plugged the graphics card in all fans work but no signal on monitor. The Geforce has been tested in a different machine and works so no problem with it. My question is which one is the 12v rail? The one that goes plugged in motherboard near Cpu with 4connections or the other one that goes into the motherboard the big one? Because the first one splits at the end into 2x4pin and i can plug only one in. Hope i was clear enough! Thank you!

There should be a cable with 6pin connection (sometimes marked PCI-e), thats the one you should plug into the graphics

No no Geforce 240gt doesnt need a pci-e connection. Draws all the power from 12v rails of motherboard.
