Z77 Chipset Compatible with parts on my P67 board?

I have a Gigabyte P67A-UD3-B3 board. It has recently died and I would like to get a new one, but unfortunately it seems these boards are no longer available.

I am looking at other boards with chipsets like Z77.

If both my old board and my new board have a LGA1155 socket do I have to worry about the chipset?

Will a Z77 chipset motherboard take my current i3 CPU?

That is great. Is there a reference where you can see these compatibilities?

I am going to go with the Gigabyte GA-Z77-HD4 Socket 1155 Intel Z77 Express Chipset I think.

Swapped out motherboards and everything worked fine, the CPU and the RAM took with the Z77 gigabyte motherboard.
