so this is how it looks right now im trying to keep looking at the build and modifying it as i save for it whille keeping it at 2.1k.

this will be for major gaming, video editing, and streaming. and wanting it to do this as fast as i can. planning to hope it will last for awhile to and no plans to overclock yet.

first up: G.Skill Ares Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory operating voltage of 1.65V exceeds the Intel Haswell CPU recommended maximum of 1.5V+5% (1.575V)

second: a GTX 780 is $100 less

you're probably better with a PCI wi-fi card instead of USB

your PSU is overkill, and a secondary quality level. Go for a Seasonic, XFX, or Antec. if you stick with one GPU, a 550-650W cpu is plenty. for 2-way SLI a 750-850W is plenty.

they've already gotten an opinion on the cpu voltage issue the cpu can run fine at the voltage needed for the memory. just need to go in and allow it to run there so the memory sticks wont suffer.

the 780 ti? i'm going for a 780 ti or a r9 290x single card until the 20nm production for cards finishes and goes out so ill buy 2 20nm cards for sli or crossfire that's what the power supply is for. its also got good ratings and is platinum certified so better efficiency and it will allow me to expand to the 2 way sli or crossfire unless the 20nm gpu use rediculace power.

on the pci thing, this is cause i was worried about pci slot limits with the 2 way dual cards later and there fans so i didnt know if the mobo would have space for a wifi card

you should be fine, as far as free slots go. you should be able to squieeze a PCI-e x1 minicard even if you SLI

the noctua was part of the original build recommended to me and its spose to work and ill trust em so i can live if it looks a smidge ugly the case kinda makes up for it lol

The case is beautiful, ive got a white full tower nzxt. But they did a good job of making the noctua look ugly as fuk. I would never buy one, get a evo 212 or something.

so im looking into 1.5v memory i did read more and though it should be fine to go forawhile running 1.65v will aparently lower the longevity so ill just spend a bit extra and go 1.5v

the revised build with you guys recommendations i might think about switching the cpu cooler for a water cooler but thats more overclocking territory right?

also the 2 case fans from before the things telling me it doesnt support the check for that but i believe i should have a use for one 140 on the side and one on top
