By-Pass model vs Ad board

Hey guys I was looking at some monitors and was wondering which one I should choose. Would it be better for my gpu to handle everything or have the monitor do it? I'm looking at this monitor YAMAKASI DS270 IPS SE LED 27" LG QHD AH-IPS 2560X1440 DVI (Dual-Link) and my gpu is a 7950.

Qnix QX2710 is better btw, overclocks better and is cheaper.

Anyway you'll want the bypass model unless you plan on using it with a console or laptop.

I guess that's something that I should look into. Does the monitor get higher input lag if I go with the one with the HDMI? Can't seem to find a Pixel Perfect one on Ebay that's sold by Greensum

Pixel perfect is a scam, all they do is refund you the difference if it isn't pixel perfect, they don't get dead pixels anyway. Accessorieswhole has a 3 dead pixel policy I think, try those.

Is it still worth it if it's more expensive than the IPS? Also I don't mind spending extra on a Pixel Perfect monitor just because I'm one of those guys that would rather be safe than sorry.

Still worth it. Theres really no reason to buy Pixel Perfect at all, they don't open them to check so you are just paying extra for nothing.

Thanks cooky, so my next question is do I buy from Ebay or ipsledmonitors.com? On Ebay I'd have to get the Pixel Perfect because I want the Matte screen and that ones the cheapest one. Should I get the 3 year warranty from Ebay or the other site?

I've been reading around, so far this Yamakasi DS270 IPS SE appears to be the best bang for the buck.
