How to enable my gtx 770?

So I have a ndivia geforce gtx 770, and i got skyrim. when i looked at the options, it said my graphics adapter was the intel graphics. So I went and disabled the intel graphics and went back into options. Now it says i'm using microsoft basic render driver and it lags a lot when I tried playing skyrim. What do I do?

You connect your monitor to the GTX770, not the onboard graphics, that's it.

Lol I actually haven't even got a monitor yet. I'm playing on my TV with a hdmi cable.

Plug that directly into the GPU instead, if it still persists go to your bios and disable your cpu's integrated graphics
