so, i am going to build a new system and now im wondering if 2 280x with cooltech fans and a
normalsized wifi-card (TP-Link TL-WDN4800 Dualband N900) would fit on an ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 motherboard or if i would need something bigger

as this is my first post i hope its in the right category and that nobody get angry over this, thanks in advance for answers :)

Checking you have two (2) slots for the GPUs (dark blue). Each GPU take up at least 2 slots in width (be sure to check as my Sapphire Vapor-X cards are 2.5 slots wide...)

Your WiFi, goes into the small, dark blue, PCI Express x1 slot which will NOT be available as it will be covered up by the 1st GPU...

Find out IF you can install in the Black slot instead.... (I believe it Could...)

BUT, I would recommend get an external USB based WiFi connection for three reasons...
- better transmission and reception range
- even IF you can use the Black slot that WiFi card sandwiched between two 280X GPU's is gonna get really hot. And, it will reduce air flow around your GPUs and increase their temperatures too....
- it will fit...
