I would like to play my PS3 on that can play games with high resolution and good quality. I am not a hardcore gamer so I am not too concerned with input lag and response times, but I definetly would like it too look amazing playing games like BF4. It would also have to have HDMI. A IPS monitor would also be a bonus!

Here are two good quality monitors, while only a TN panels, it will fit your needs. Asus makes pretty good monitors, and their support isn't to bad, in my experience at least.
