I built my PC a little over a year ago and was looking to upgrade my ram. I have a concerns about doing this. The concern is if my motherboard is compatible with with the ram I wanted to buy. The motherboard I am using is an ASUS P8Z77-V. The ram sticks I wanted to install in it was a, "16GB G.Skill DDR3 PC3-19200 2400MHz Trident X Series CL10 (10-12-12-31) Dual Channel kit". The reason I am concerned if it's compatible is because in the user guide that came with the motherboard does not list this particular ram stick (in the 2400mhz range) in the qualified vendor list for it. While the G. skill vendor is mentioned this ram configuration is not. I was hoping that someone with insight on this could help me. The ram sticks are around $200 and I would rather not get them just to have them not work. Thanks for the help in advance
