Hey all,

I'm using win7 professional. I want to sort a bunch of folders by size (specifically, how much size is contained inside them), but there are only blanks: http://

So I thought I'd try Q-Dir file manager in hopes that I will be able to quickly see how much data is contained in each folder without having to right click > properties. http://

I figured I will always want to see how much data are in files on a daily basis, and I'm wondering: is it worth having this program onto my SSD or is it sufficient on my HDD? I would like to maximize my SSD lifespan and current performance

Thanks for reading.

There's no reason for it to take up space on the SSD. It is a small app that is quickly loaded no matter which drive it resides on.

Another pgm you may want to look at is: http://www.jam-software.com/treesize_free/
It's the one I use to see what folders, etc are taking up the most space.

Thanks, I went ahead with your advice.

Indeed on my HDD it is fast enough, thanks a bunch! This was just for a one-time deal, but I will look into similar programs starting with the one you suggested.. I'm diggin the screenshots so far.
