Hey i am wanting to build a PC to handle PHOTO/VIDEO editing plus some games like Battlefield and general internet and youtube.

I made this list up from pcpartpicker. My budget is $3000 and want lots of grunt as i am sick of my old slow MAC that has 2 cores 2.8GH and 2g of RAM.

Ilike the sound of a 3 or 4 internal SSD/HDD system but not sure about a good way to set them out and if the HDD are the best for my needs and budget?????
The monitor i am looking at is actually a 27" ACER widescreen LED. What is a good resolution or screen same size for that price (about $275)???
Do you think all these parts would make a sweet PC for the above mentioned purposes???

That PSU is pointless. Change it to a 500-600w unit from Antec, XFX, Corsair, Seasonic.

This is a good build for video editing, not so much for gaming at this price, but it will play modern games at high, not ultra settings.

Thanks mate! I took the list down to a com shop and they gave me the same advice.
They said the PSU was over the top and point me in the direction of Radeon 4GB something Video card for about $530.

Thanks for your help!

hi, I'm not sure where you live and where you're buying these parts... but the prices you listed are a bit high. Compared prices at Newegg.com
