Formatting a Vista32bit drive and Installing Win7 64bit OEM over it

Dear all,

I have bought a new system at home and, stupidly, installed Vista 32 bit on it until my copy of Win7 64 OEM turns up.

My question is, how do I format the current drive Vista sits on (can you format a partition the current OS is sitting on?) and then install the Win7 64bit OEM over it?

Is this possible?

When you get the cd for W7, just boot to the cd, select clean install and W7 will do all the work for you. It will reformat the drive and give you a clean install.
