I bought an LG monitor (Flatron 22EA53VQ-P) in April last year and it has worked perfectly up until now.
When I turned on my computer today though, the left quarter from the centre has turned noticeably dark (see img below)
It doesn't come up too badly on the windows screen but games are near pointless and text is difficult to read.
There's also a weird effect where windows in the background or even minimized show up and it doesn't seem to be due to the img being burned to the screen.
I've seen similar lines, possibly due to FPC connections for that area being disconnected but I would have though that this would cause pure black img. not a dark area.
Any help/comments would be much appreciated
