Hello all! This is my first time posting here to the forum and I have a few questions about two laptops I was looking at. My purpose for these laptops are digital artwork and light 3d animation work. No rendering, just animating if anything. But my choices have come down to a HP Envy with a Nvidia 740m graphics card or and Asus N56JR-MH71 with a Nvidia GTX 760m. Both laptops have i7 quadcore processors and 16gb of ram. Im just in a bind between which one to choose. And is the Nvidia 750m graphics card better than both of them? Some guidance would be helpful. THanks!!

The way nVidia works is the higher the number after the first number, in this case the cards are 700 series and the numbers after the 7 is the model. So basically the higher the number after the first number the better. In this case the 760m would be the best for what you want to do as well as if you were to want to play any games that laptop would run them just fine. Its your decision and how much you are willing to spend. If the 760m version is too much money go with the 750m that is an other great choice. As far as the 740 go's it would get the job done just might not be up to your expectations. Also, may I ask how much money are these PC's you are looking at and possibly links to them?
