Graphics Card Prices

Does any one know if prices will come down any time soon? I was thinking about up grading my 6970 but prices are , and I have a friend that wants to build a new system.

A 6970 is still a pretty capable card. You could get a second one off eBay and Crossfire it and buy a new power supply, that would give you some pretty solid performance.

Only 280x and up AMDs are inflated really. nvidia prices are pretty stable.

The prices on tech will go down after the winter olympics. Somewhere around that time. You should take the GTX760 or the GTX670. If you like AMD, then R9 270X, HD7870 or if you can, a 7950.

Thank for the replies I will wait a few month. I was thinking about getting a R9 290 when pieces come down. I have a 850 watt corsair power supply so I could do crossfire. I'm waiting to see how well gta V runs on pc. My cpu is an I7 960 oced at 4.2ghz.
