Pc working but not displaying anything

my pc is working without the grapchics card but when i add the graphics card it come on with a black how can i fix it ?

I have a Asus z87-k motherboard
Evga gt640 grachipcs card
ace psu
intel core i5

Have you tested the card in different PC just to make sure that it does work?
