saber tooth mother board
fx 8350 black
16 gb crucal ram
2 r9 280's
asus VG248QE

Iam getting the driver update black screen problem tried the fresh install 3 times having completly removed amd drivers before install the only drivers that will work came off the cd with the cards.I called tech support and after explaining how i tried resolving the issue they were at a loss . I had the thought that maybe Iam a bone head for buying this monitor that says nvidia 3d vision and hooking it a a amd system . could my monitor be the culprit in this or am i S.O.L. until amd makes drivers not in beta.
I usually run nividia stuff but read that battlefeild runs great on amd so here I am.

I've seen issues related to AMD and running at 144hz. They usually work at 120hz, but not so well at 144hz. Have you tried 120hz?

I can switch it to 120 , running 144 now it runs good I just can't update to new drivers without losing video and have to run in safe mode to remove drivers and install good original drivers . could the 144 cause my to lose video when i update.

Possibly. You should set it to 120hz before trying an update and see how it goes. You can always attempt 144hz after the update.
