Transfer FROM SSD to hard rive

I want to downgrade my SSD system to regular hard drive without having to re-install.

I know there will be few adjustments to be made afterwards like pagefile etc. Could I get away with just making a mirror (ghosting) onto a new HD?.

Yes, you can "clone" the existing drive on to the new one using cloning software: http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/five-apps/five-free-and-reliable-cloning-tools/

The new drive will then become an exact copy of the existing one.

Rather unusual to replace SSD with HDD though.
