Hi,

I had two monitors on my PC. One LG E2251 on my Gigabyte GTX670 via DVI and onther Acer AL1711 on the VGA output of the motherboard (AsRock Z77 Extreme 4 with a 3570k)
On windows 7 this worked fine. The LG had my taskbar and was on full HD, the second monitor was to the left at 1280x1024.
Now I upgraded to windows8.1 pro and I can't get the extended desktop going. Both screens work, they show different desktops, but both have the taskbar. The weirdest is that in windows 'screen resolution' I can see both monitors, but the Nvidia control panel does not detect it. (which it did in windows 7)

I've added a screenshot, The IE window is fullscreen on the second monitor.

I'm I trying something impossible? Or what could be wrong? Both the intel and nvidia drivers are up to date.

OK, I've fixed the taskbar issue. Just right click on the taskbar, choose properties and deselect 'show taskbar on all displays'.
I still find it odd that the nvidia driver does not recognizes the other monitor connected to the motherboard... (I'm sure it did under win7)
