Need Professional Advice On My Custom Computer Build

I need Professional Help and advice on my custom computer build meaning tell me if i should change anything or if there's cheaper alternatives that do basically the same thing without loss of performance, Btw I will overclock. My specs are:

CPU: Intel CPU Core i5 4670K Haswell 6MB Cache 3.4Ghz (up to 3.8GHz) LGA 1150 BX80646I54670K Quad Core Processor,

MOTHERBOARD: Asus MAXIMUS VI EXTREME Intel Mainboard - LGA 1150,

RAM: Corsair DDR3 8GB (2x Vengeance 4GB) 1600MHz CL8 (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8),

STORAGE DEVICE: Seagate Barracuda 3TB,

CASE: Corsair Obsidian Series 750D Full Tower - Black With Window (CC-9011035-WW),

POWER SUPPLY: Antec High Current Gamer 900W,

OPTICAL DRIVES: Pioneer (BDR-209DBKS) - 15x Internal BD/DVD/CD Burner - OEM,

COOLER: Corsair H100i Liquid CPU Cooler,

GRAPHICS CARD: Gigabyte (R929XOC-4GD) Radeon R9 290X 4GB 512-bit GDDR5 - PCI Express 3.0 - HDCP Ready Video Card

I'd probably go with the Gigabyte board (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128617), personally (though I'm an ASRock fan too). I read something recently about Gigabyte motherboards having some of the lowest RMA number among other manufacturers which is a plus.

Looks pretty solid, but why the Maximus VI Extreme? To me that seems a bit overkill, unless you have some specific reasoning or are getting it super cheap; there are $150 boards that will do the exact same than that $350 board.
