max $700 build help please

I have been looking around and I am kind of an amd fanboy but looking at giving Intel a chance I have a max of $700 to spend really I'm looking to get the most bang for my buck either Intel or amd for a gaming build I have a case and a logisys 550w model ps550e12bk and moniter, DVD drives is but if getting a new case akes it cheaper show me but any help will be appreciated, oh and the last computer I but was a micron with a 500mhz Intel lol if that show how out dated I am

logisys 550w < needs to be replaced , they make some of the worst power supplies out there.
