I have had one AOC monitor connected to my Radeon HD 7770 with a DVI cord for a long time. I recently got a new ASUS monitor and have plugged the HDMI port into the graphics card (and monitor) yet it is not detecting the monitor.

It has a slot for both DVI and HDMI, but is only detecting the DVI input. I don't believe drivers are necessary as the monitor did not come with a disc.
The monitor is set on HDMI mode.
