http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/ite...

I have a brand new, NEVER USED Tt PSU. . It came with my case but had bought a better one from Corsair, so I don't need it lol. Thats why it doesn't have the box with it, screws DO come with it.

Prefer to ship only within the USA. Pick Up option is available within Washington D.C./VA. Prefer Paypal as payment. Will ship either through USPS/Fedex - via GROUND (higher shipping available at buyers expense)

PS: I am also selling the anime show Michiko & Hatchin (blu ray; Part 1 & 2) for $30. . Will make this a combo if interested and will give discount.

*PRICE IS NEGOTIABLE*

Thermaltake TR2 is tier 5 here:
http://www.eggxpert.com/forums/thread/323050.aspx
so I think you're better off using it as a doorstop or taking it for electronics recycling.
Also, fwiw, your link is to the TR-700 instead of the TR2-700.

Wow good man.. Thanks so much, still learning a lot about PC gaming in general. Good info mate. Will look into recycling this guy in the near future, dunno if Microcenter offers that or not. .

On the side note Mauve Cloud - I have a Corsair RM750 powering my rig i7 4820k/ GTX 780 (FTW) edition. The recommended wattage is 600W, not 100% sure if I am gonna OC in the future or not. I also have a Gaiea SD 1280 cpu cooler as well. I think I am alright overall.

Corsair RM750 is tier 3. For a 4820k, I would have gone for a tier 1 or 2 psu, but probably not worth replacing at this point. For the cpu cooler, did you mean the Xigmatek Gaia SD1283? If so, that's a good cooler.

You could check with your local Goodwill donation center. Some of them (possibly all by now) accept electronics for recycling.

Just because it is not a great supply does not equal giving it away.
Just expect to sell it outside of forums where people are up on their stuff.
EBAY would be where I would sell it and it will sell easy.

High-power, low-quality power supplies are great for older computers that have dead power supplies. There are lots of people that would buy this for a decent price.

Maybe there are, but if I had one of these I would feel like I was conning them by selling them an unreliable power supply.

It can't be any more unreliable than what they had before... I've been using a TR2 for the last two years and it hasn't caused me any problems. They're not all unreliable.
