Im building my first gaming computer soon and looking at monitors. My budget is £150 but i can stretch a little further if its exceptionally good value for money. Im looking at 21.5-24" and Im really just bothered about performance. It would be nice if the monitor was aesthetically good, but its not essential, and im not bothered about ports as long as it has one that works.

From what i can tell IPS is the thing to go for right now, but tell me if im wrong.

Here are a few ive been looking at:

Dell UltraSharp U2312HM £171
BenQ RL2455HM £171
ASUS VE248H £155 (from £191)
AOC i2352Vh
ASUS VS239H-P
Please tell me what you think, Id really appreciate it :)

Thanks for the response, but the absolute max I could stretch to is £180. I'm on a budget and any extra I spend will compromise other components. How do the ones Ive suggested look? Do you have any general reccomendations with regards to companies/specs? Cheers :)

It does have a nice response time but unless you're a "professional" gamer you will not see a difference between 1ms and 2ms response time.
