heyy everyone i was just looking for your opinions on my first gaming pc build. i have asked some friends and other people there opinions and they and i believe its a decent build. all up it is about 800 dollars and i really dont want to go past that much. so i what i want to know what sort of performance can i expect from this build in modern games such as COD: ghost, BF4 Tomb Raider etc so my build consists of:

motherboard - ASUS M5A78L-M USB

GPU - Gigabyte Geforce GTX 660

ram - Team 8GB DDR3 1600MHz

power supply - CoolerMaster RS600-ACAAB1 500W Power Supply 80+ bronze certified

CPU - AMD FX - 6300

optical drive - Samsung SH-S223B DVDRW

i have left out the case and HDD because im just going to get the best one i can get for the price when im in the store. and i know to make sure it has good airflow fans etc but im open to suggestions of cheap cases around 70 dollars and also any HDD you could suggest for around 50 - 60 dollars
so what is your opinion of this build ? any knowledge you give me will be greatly appreciated.
also im in Australia if that helps anyone with pricing etc

Looks to be a decent build. The only changes I'd make are:

1) Dual-Channel memory. If you want 8GB of RAM, go with 2x4GB rather than 1x8GB.
2) Probably a fair power supply, but I'd go with one from a bit more reliable company - Antec, Corsair, FSP Group PC Power and Cooling, or Seasonic.
