Also going to get an SSD for my OS and browsers. Is my motherboard compatible with the rest of my specs? (I'm aware it's on the cheap end but money is tight). Also, when I have the cash I'm wanting to overclock and put a custom water cooling loop in, any good cheap cases that can support this?

All help is appreciated!

I dont think the motherboard is compatible. Why are you getting it. Just get z87 motherboard like asus z87 plus or gigabyte d3hp. You cant overclock with b85 chipset. For the case, get corsair vengence c70 or if cheaper nzxt phantom 410 black

Ah, it was the "z87 express" in the description that threw me, could be a mistake (or just me being a noob), I'll have a look at those boards and cases, thank you!

P.S. I'd pick your answer as the solution, but the option isn't there for some reason….

Had a look at that board, all seems well but it is UGLY. Anything a little less…. gold?
Probably still go for it though, I can try and hide it with LED's

Get an ASRock/Asus Z87
Everything else should be compatible with it. If you're getting a SSD I suggest the EVO :)
