I play a lot of fps games (mostly COD) and I am thinking about buying a 120 or 144 hz monitor. and I am wondering if my accuracy is going to increase when I purchase a gaming monitor. I watch people like TBNR Frags, Rechyyy, WZ Clan( COD clan) and they all seem to have very good accuracy. The second thing I want to know if a larger monitor will benefit me. I currently have a 21.5 inch sized screen and most of the gaming monitors I see are 24 inches in size. I am wondering if the larger screen size will make it easier to see enemies so I will be able to shoot them more efficiently.

I am currently looking at three monitors right now and I am not sure which one to get.

Linus had a video on this. To the average user, coming from 60Hz, you aren't going to see the difference right away, or for awhile. However, if you get used to it, you will be able to tell the difference, but really only if you're seasoned, and it won't offer a huge benefit to you. The only gaming monitor that I think would truly benefit from a high refresh rate is a G-Sync monitor, giving it helps reduce lag and all that.

As to monitor size, it only helps as much as you think it does. If you feel like you can see all of the opponents on the screen at 21.5", then you're fine. If you're having trouble, you might as well go for a 30" screen. The size itself doesn't matter as much in my opinion, but rather the resolution and FoV.
