Hey, thanks for the advice. Someone just told me that the i7 is more for extreme stuff like video editing and rendering. Was told that for gaming, an i5 is just as good. Is that true?

Yeup, pretty much. Although, the trend seems to be moving toward utilizing more CPU cores/hyperthreads in gaming (e.g. BF4). So, if you have the money it could be worth it to get an i7. If you want to save $150, get an i5-4670K, it's a killer.

The Corsair H100i is a great water cooler if you are going to do extreme overclocking. Other than that, you should be fine with the cooler you selected. Nice build!
