Hello everyone :) I am very much a novice when it comes to hardware but now my computer has kicked it I want to have a computer system that suits my needs (and I am not happy with the pre built stuff I have been looking at).
Thanks to r/Hardware I have had some good help with finding parts ( A starting build posted below). I want it for gaming (mostly indie games and ones that aren't to pressing such as tf2,dota 2,Civ:V but I would like leeway to play higher end games if I wanted to). I also want to start learning to animate so I would like to be able to experiment with the Blender programme.
Sorry that I am so new at this :( But I would love your help! Thanks everyone x

for Best way to know how to build watch these two videos
First Part : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9IN4B6Jwng
Second Part : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFeAATdWvUc

Your selection is also good but make your 8 GB one stick memory to 2x4 ram because dual channel is better than single channel it can give performance more than single stick
my opinion is G.Skill Sniper DDR3 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) PC RAM (F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR)

you should increase power supply to 750 or 800 watts
my opinion is Corsair CMPSU-800GUK 800 Watts PSU

you should choose mobo ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 Motherboard

you can also check that your specs can run game at can i run this game at game-debate.com Best Website for any thing related to pc or laptops anything you want to know..

i hope that you can get your answer...

this gpu is good but not better than Sapphire AMD/ATI HD 7790 OC 2 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
you should buy this

and the ram give is not better than 2x4 G.Skill Sniper DDR3 8 GB because it's performance is more better and they have used new heat sink technology in it

and Don't forget to watch to watch video it will help you

Instead of atm or ati you should go for nvidia zotac gtx 650 2gb amp edition it has much lower price and high performance. And equal to stargb suggested graphics card ...
