Hey,

This is my first time building a PC, and I just wanted to be sure I'm getting the best components I can for my money. I'm going to be using this mostly for gaming, but as I'm an Engineering major in college currently, I'll likely be using various scripting programs for class as well.

Here's what I have so far:
Motherboard: Asus Z87-A DDR3 1600 LGA 1150 Motherboard
CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
GPU: GeForce GTX770 SuperClocked
HDD: WD Blue 1 TB Desktop Hard Drive
SDD: Samsung Electronics 840 EVO-Series 120GB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Blue 8 GB
Power Supply: Corsair CX750
Disk Drive: Asus 24x DVD-RW

So, is there anything I can do to lower the price at all without cutting too much performance? I plan to later on, maybe, duel run graphics card, btw. Also, is it worth actually getting the SSD to install my OS on, or should I just skip it and install it on the HDD?

Thanks!

EDIT: I forgot to ask, should I get Windows 7 or Windows 8.1? I have 8.1 currently on my laptop, but I am seriously considering just getting Windows 7 for this.

Looks like a very good build. The only thing that I would change is the PSU. Corsair has some good ones but not the CX series.

Also, SSD is definitely worth it!

Edit: I prefer Win 7 but that's just personal.

How does this one look?

Also, do you think that this will have enough power to handle two gtx 770's eventually?
