Does turning off surge protector damage internal components?

I turn off my Surge Protector (which connects out to a laptop recharge and full PC) when I go to bed and while I am at work. This fully restricts power for the components connected (the PC, monitor, Laptop, etc). Is there any chance that when turning the surge protector off/on, this damages anything within the PC?

Yes, all things connected to the surge protector are fully shutdown before the switch is flipped. I just want to double check as I have been doing this for years with laptops and recently made a custom build for the PC.

Thank you.
