PSU is fried, is my i7 and motherboard fried as well?

My build is i7 4770k
Asus Z87A
8Gb ram
Inland ILG-750E PSU
On first power up one of the EATX 8 pin cables melted. What is the likelihood of the motherboard and cpu being fried as well?
To be specific it was the top ground wire on the 8 pin that melted.

Nobody can tell you for sure,you just have to try with a new psu.
