help,all my files have been converted to vlc media player

I tried to play a video with vlc media player.Now all my files have been converted to vlc media player,including moxilla fire fox ,microsoft word and others.Please help!

uninstall vlc player and reinstall it. Good luck.

While you did installation you have associated files to be open with vlc. You need to associate it to original program.
Uninstall vlc.
Which OS do you use?
