Your power supply may not be good enough to run the video card, motherboard may be bad (the PCIe slot specifically), card may be bad.

The specs listed show a 300 watt PSU so that should in theory be OK.

You can try a BIOS update and see if that helps, you may need to switch graphics settings in the BIOS to use the PCIe ones (may be called PEG). If that does not work, test the card in another system that is good enough to run the card. If it works fine in that one, you need to either test another similar video card in your system or try a new power supply or motherboard.

i installed vtx7750 in my old dell pc and the card works fine. i then installed a old radeon x1300 card in the hp p6 and that works fine . then i put vtx7750 back in the hp p6 and still nothing . is the vtx7750 with its 1gb ddr3 pci express 3.0 not compatible with p6-2018uk.

It may not be compatible, rare but it happens, did you try doing a BIOS update?
If the 7750 does not work, try an nVidia gts 450 or a GT 640, they are in about the same class although the 7750 is a bit faster. I've read several posts where nVidia cards worked in systems where AMD cards did not.

Hi, It's been a long time. We did the BIOS Update and no results. Still the same as before. but my old graphics card AMD 1300 Still works fine with the new BIOS in the HP. I have not been able to obtain a GTX/Geforce card at this time but we will try that method in the near future.

Many Thanks
!
